Energy Boosting Smoothies to Kickstart Your Workout

Maca-Cacoa Smoothie

8-10 oz Coconut Water (for that added hydration for pre-workout!)

1-2 Tbsp Raw Cocoa Powder (contains exceptionally high concentrations of PEA”phenylethylamine”, the stuff that boosts energy, alertness and concentration, perfect before an intense workout)

1 Banana (great source of potassium to help prevent muscle cramps)

2 Tbsp Hemp Seeds (easy to digest source of energy boosting B vitamins)

1-2 Scoops Vanilla or Chocolate Protein Powder (optional: for that added muscle building boost)

1 tsp Maca Powder (Here’s the POWER PUNCH=powerful source of nutrition, including: Over 20 amino acids, including 8 essential amino acids. 20 free-form fatty acids (such as lauric, linolenic, palmitic acid, oleic , and steric acid) Vitamins B-1, B-2, C and E.)

Tip: store your superfood powders in air tight glass jars in fridge to retain freshness, plus its much easier to access than those pesky bags they come in!
