Now is that time of year on the east coast where we are pushing the seasonal limits by wearing flip-flops and sweatshirts! My New England peeps understand what I’m talking about. Basically, its cold in the morning and warms up midday and back to cold by dinner time. It’s no surprise that during the winter I LOVE soup and stews because they are simple to toss in the slow cooker and warm the body. But now that we are approaching spring, here is one of my favorites… it’s so simple…give it a try!
